Abstract
Introduction: The long-term goal of this assessment was to ensure continued economic progress that meets the needs of the present generation without any shortage or problem for the next generation. Currently, the environment is considered as the third pillar of Olympism after sports and culture [1].
Methods: The overall purpose of this study was to determine the environmental effects of sports venues on the urban environment and the level of participation in physical activity. Also, collecting information and conducting this research was done as a review form and a library method, taking from various articles and articles in this field [2].
Results: For many people, the quality of exercise is closely related to the environment in which they practice. An unhealthy environment, in addition to harming the athlete, is also an obstacle to individual motivation to prioritize exercise. According to research and studies, the environmental effects of different stadiums on the city environment are different and this result can be analyzed according to the location of stadiums in different parts of the city, the capacity of stadiums, holding various competitions, and how to operate them. It should also be noted that the greater the capacity of the stadium and the more sports activities are held in it, the more impact it has on the city environment [3].
Conclusion: An unhealthy environment, in addition to harming the athlete, is an obstacle to individual motivation to prioritize exercise. If the place of exercise is inappropriate, it will have an adverse effect on performing sports exercises in space. The people of a community can play a very important role in preserving the environment and sustainable development of that community by participating in healthy recreational activities, especially leisure recreational sports [4].
