The Role of Job Characteristics of Physical Education Teachers in the Intramural Sport Olympiad

Abstract
Introduction: Expansion of physical activity at schools, can Increase students' ability and reduce stress and Physical diseases (Malekipour, Sharifian.2019). The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of job characteristics of physical education teachers in the intramural sports olympiad.
Methods: The population of the study included 1400 teachers, secretaries, administrative, and other experts involved in physical education in Kerman province, and the statistical sample included 302 male and female physical education teachers selected by multistage cluster sampling. The instrument was a bisection questionnaire whose face and content validity was confirmed. Data analysis was done in descriptive and inferential sections, including ANOVA test, independent t-test, to do so Spss software version 22 was used.
Results: The findings showed that according to the respondents, degree, organizational position, teaching experience in physical education at schools, didn't have any effect on the quality of the Intramural Sports Olympiad (P05/0≥). The results of the independent t-test showed that between the views of respondents who were responsible for school sports associations×)=3/65) and those who had no responsibility×)=3/52) despite the difference in the quality of the olympiad, the difference was not significant (P05/0≥) also among those who have been responsible for guiding physical education teachers ×)=3/65) and those who had no responsibility×)=3/58) despite the difference in the quality of the olympiad, the difference was not significant (P05/0≥). But the quality of the Olympiad in female schools×) =3/74) and male schools×)=3/50) the difference was significant (P05/0≥).
Conclusion: The students who are active and effective in physical activity at schools will benefit from its physical and mental effects (Bourke, Hilland& Craik. 2019). According to the findings of this study, the need to focus more on the performance of physical education teachers instead of paying special attention to teachers' job documents in evaluations is felt more than ever.
