| Abstract |
| This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of motor reaction device exercises in improving certain bio-motor abilities among FUTSAL goalkeepers aged 13–15 years from the Karbala Education Directorate. The goalkeeper position requires quick reactions, coordination, and anticipation, making bio-motor abilities essential for successful performance. The experimental method was used with a one-group design that included pre- and post-tests. The sample consisted of ten goalkeepers intentionally selected from the Karbala Education futsal team. The training program lasted eight weeks, with three sessions per week, each lasting 60 minutes. The exercises focused on developing visual and auditory reaction speed, balance, and coordination using the motor reaction device. The results revealed statistically significant improvements in all tested variables in favor of the post-test, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training program. These improvements were attributed to the device’s sensory stimuli, which enhanced neural processing, focus, and motor coordination. The study concluded that integrating motor reaction devices into youth training programs can effectively develop goalkeepers’ bio-motor abilities and overall performance. It is recommended that such modern technologies be incorporated into school and sports club training programs to enhance skill development, reaction efficiency, and motivation among young athletes |
