| Abstract |
| The purpose of this research was to identify and analyze the challenges and solutions to improve the talent development process in volleyball clubs in Mazandaran province. The sources of findings included two parts of human resources (scientific and executive experts) and information sources (research, documents, sites and others). The selected sample included 14 experts (managers, trainers, professors) and 31 information sources (dissertations, dissertations, articles, organizational reports, websites, media pages). The sampling method was chosen purposefully. Sample estimation was based on reaching theoretical saturation. The research tool included semi-exploratory interview framework and content analysis of information sources. The interview framework included questions and open-ended questions. The content analysis framework included the segmentation of key concepts related to the research. The validity of the tool and results was based on the content validity of 4 expert researchers in sports management, the agreement between 2 coders (0.73) and the approval of a focus group of 6 people. Based on the findings, the conceptual framework of the research was obtained in the form of the table below by combining the three parts of situational indicators (40 indicators), challenges (37 components) and solutions (35 items) with talent development sub-processes (6 sub-processes). The types of status indicators of the talent development process in volleyball clubs in both quantitative and qualitative perspectives, the types of challenges and obstacles in the talent development process in the internal and external environments of the clubs, and the types of solutions to improve the talent development process in Volleyball clubs in Mazandaran province in 2 managerial-organizational and technical-functional levels in 6 sub-processes; Discovery and attraction of talent, cultivation and development of talent, evaluation and adaptation of talent, establishment and application of talent, maintenance and services of talent were framed. |
