APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENTREPRENEURIAL DECISION-MAKING IN SPORTS: A DATA-DRIVEN APPROACH

Abstract
Introduction:
One of the most transformative technologies in recent years is artificial intelligence (AI), which is transforming sports into a vibrant commercial ecosystem [1]. Entrepreneurs now have the chance to make decisions more quickly and accurately while lowering risks thanks to the adoption of AI [2]. Sports managers can now spot new business opportunities, better allocate resources, and create creative solutions that bolster their competitive edge by combining intelligent systems and cutting-edge data-processing techniques [3]. The goal of this study is to provide a data-driven explanation of how AI helps sports entrepreneurs make better decisions.
Methods:
This research employed a narrative review of scientific literature (2022-2025) examining AI, entrepreneurship, and sports management. Through thematic content analysis, the study extracted practical patterns, managerial implications, and strategic insights, with particular focus on AI applications in decision-making, sports marketing, and innovation management to understand its entrepreneurial impact.
Results:
The findings revealed several key impacts of AI implementation in sports entrepreneurship:
Enhanced Operational Efficiency: AI technologies boost entrepreneurial efficiency through enhanced data processing and predictive market analytics.
Improved Decision-Making: Intelligent systems enable sports managers to make informed marketing decisions, predict financial outcomes, and identify consumer trends.
Business Development and Sustainability: AI-based tools fostered innovative digital platforms in sports, enhancing fan engagement, maximizing revenue, and promoting business sustainability.
Conclusion:
In summary,this study demonstrates that artificial intelligence significantly enhances sports entrepreneurship through three primary mechanisms: operational efficiency gains via improved data processing and predictive analytics, superior decision-making capabilities in marketing and financial planning, and sustainable business development through innovative digital platforms [1-2]. To maximize these benefits, successful implementation requires robust ethical data governance, development of managerial digital skills, and cultivation of technology-friendly organizational cultures[2].Ultimately, AI integration empowers sports entrepreneurs to make more informed and sustainable decisions, thereby boosting economic growth and competitiveness within the sports sector[3-4].
