| Introduction :In recent years, one of the most significant advances in artificial intelligence has been the emergence of natural language processing models such as GPT and Deepseek. These tools are widely used in educational settings worldwide, and students use them to analyze text, translate texts, or even write various sections for research papers. For this reason, the researchers conducted this study with the aim of assessing the intention to use artificial intelligence tools among students and professors in order to identify the barriers to the non-acceptance of these tools and to provide appropriate and practical solutions to the relevant administrators and officials to solve these problems as well as to deal with the threats of these tools. Methods: This research was applied in purpose and descriptive-survey in method. The statistical population consisted of students and faculty members of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Health at the University of Tehran. Data were collected through a questionnaire, and the relationships among variables were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS version 3. Results: esults: Modeling results showed that both social norms and cognitive tool use have a positive and significant relationship with perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived usefulness showed a positive and significant relationship with intention to use artificial intelligence tools. Conclusion: The results obtained in the research are consistent with the studies of Bashir et al. (2022), Ma et al. (2017) and it can be stated that with the rapid growth of the use of artificial intelligence tools, it is essential to ensure their correct and ethical use. Universities should design programs to educate and increase effective use, while emphasizing ethical practices. By doing so, they can benefit from the benefits of artificial intelligence to promote academic achievement and scientific development. |
