| Abstract |
| Introduction: . The hidden curriculum encompasses implicit and unseen experiences that occur within the school's physical education process and are not directly observable. Considering the role of the physical space as a component of the hidden curriculum, this research was conducted to assess the feasibility of applying technology in the physical component of the hidden curriculum in school physical education. Methods: This was a qualitative, applied research of a secondary nature, employing a systematic review approach. The research population included all articles published in Iranian domestic journals available in Persian-language databases SID, Magiran, Noormags, and Ensani from 2007 to 2025. The face and content validity of the research instrument were confirmed by education experts, and data reliability was established using Scott's Pi and an agreement coefficient of 80% among the coders. Results: The research findings indicated that the first article related to the physical space of the hidden curriculum was published in 2007, and this trend, despite fluctuations, has been upward until 2024. Within this period, 28 scientific research articles were published in domestic journals, with the highest number corresponding to the years after 2022. Furthermore, the sports space was among the physical space components addressed by the research, and among various elements, slogans on school walls had the highest frequency. Conclusion: The appropriate and purposeful design of school physical space can have paramount importance in enhancing the effectiveness of the hidden curriculum. Based on the research results, which suggest that slogan writing in school environments can have hidden effects on students' minds, the use of technology and utilizing digital display boards to dynamically and attractively present educational and cultural slogans is an effective strategy for enhancing the educational atmosphere and capturing students' attention in educational and sports settings. |
