| Abstract |
| Introduction: This research addresses the problem of the influence of managerial culture on the effective management of Sports Organizations in Venezuela, seeking to analyze the vision of managers on this critical relationship in a dynamic organizational context. Methods: The study was based on Corbin and Strauss's grounded theory, adopting a qualitative approach, which in turn determined the type of research in terms of its descriptive level, field design, and the use of interviews with experts for data collection. The sample consisted of 12 managers from Venezuelan sports organizations. Data collection was carried out through interviews, a methodology previously validated by experts. Results: The results revealed a positive and highly significant correlation between managerial culture and effective leadership; this model explained 67% of the variance in effectiveness. Specifically, 85.71% of the managers interviewed associated a supportive or team-oriented culture with high effectiveness, which contrasts sharply with the 10.71% who favored a hierarchical model. Conclusion: It is concluded that managerial culture is a determining predictor of effective leadership in Venezuelan sports, highlighting the imperative need to foster flexible and collaborative organizational cultures to optimize institutional performance in a constantly changing environment. |
